Chicco

The Chicco Keyfit 30 fits into a stroller frame made by the same company. If that’s not your style, the Chicco also fits into strollers made by: Baby Jogger, BOB, Britax, Bugaboo, Bumbleride, Mamas and Papas, Mountain Buggy, Phil and Ted’s, Quinny, UPPA baby and Valco, just to name a few. Fabrics may be spot-cleaned with mild soap and water, or machine washed in cold water on delicate cycle using mild detergent. Hang to dry. Luckily, most infant car seats can be secured in the car without the base – it’s just a little more complex. Place your car seat carrier, positioned correctly, rear-facing, in the vehicle seat. Pull out the seat belt; thread the lap portion through the lap belt guides on the carrier. This accessory allows you to easily connect compatible Chicco Infant Car Seats with BOB Single Jogging Strollers. Compatible with Chicco Infant Car Seats: KeyFit and KeyFit 30.

2. Nuna

Nuna

Nuna

The Nuna PIPA is a lightweight and sleek car seat known for its True Lock safety system. This is the extra base to it. The car seat comes with a base as well, but an extra base can be so helpful if you are a two-car family or if your baby will be riding with grandparents or caretakers often. Its sleekly styled and revolutionary Dream drape™ creates a shelter that harbors baby from the elements, making it a must have safe haven. On its own or paired with a Nun stroller, our Nuna PIPA makes on-the-go be oh-so-easy. Here’s to making their first outing a world debut.

3. Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Convertible

Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Convertible

Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Convertible

The Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Convertible seat is almost as impressive as its brother the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio4-35 infant car seat, but it misses the mark with this stiff competition. It is a nice seat that scored well for quality, comfort, and ease of use and it installs easily using LATCH or the vehicle belt. The seat is 18.5″ wide at its widest point, which is at the torso of the child. The seat weighs 21 pounds, which makes it the lightest seat I’ve reviewed so far that allows 45 pounds of rear-facing goodness. It is a nice seat that scored well for quality, comfort, and ease of use and it installs easily using LATCH or the vehicle belt. This Peg has a nice design with storage for components and a smooth looking fit and finish. Peg Perego is an Italian company that makes a variety of baby products including car seats, strollers, and ride on toys.

4. Doona

Doona

Doona

The award winning Doona car seat converts from an infant car seat into a compact stroller! Ideal for nipping out and about with baby, it means there is no need for a stroller or car seat carrier in the trunk of the car. Using the Doona Car Seat Without a Base. One of the best things about using Doona on the go is that you can use it in car seat mode without the latch base. Below we have provided instructions for securing the Doona car seat in a vehicle using either the lap-shoulder belt of the middle seat lap belt. Their key focus was ensuring that a baby is safe and comfortable both inside and outside the car. The Doona is a safe alternative to your existing infant 0+ car seat only.

5. Graco

Graco

Graco

The Graco 4ever All-in-One convertible car seat is meant to last from birth to when your child no longer needs a safety seat. Either they lack enough recline in rear-facing mode or children grow out of them way before the listed maximum weight, among other things. This car seat base is not compatible with the Graco 4Ever All in One Convertible Car Seat. The Graco 4Ever car seat does not have a base that is detachable. The Graco 4Ever car seat is meant to stay in the vehicle. The Graco 4ever is more expensive. The Graco 4everhas a higher forward-facing height limit. It can be used as a booster seat – both with high back and backless mode until your child no longer needs a car seat.

6. Baby Trend

Baby Trend

Baby Trend

Graco Fast Action Fold Jogger Click Connect Baby Travel System. The Graco Fastaction Fold Jogger Travel System is one Graco’s better rated and bestselling car seat and stroller combo’s for running. It compares roughly to the Baby Trend Expedition in price but doesn’t get quite as good customer reviews overall. Both of the front wheels can be locked for added stability while jogging. Both of the strollers have separate brakes for each tire in the back. The Baby Trend also has a more grippy handle, which I personally like better when jogging. Both strollers have a child snack tray with 2 cup holders and a place to put treats. Some strollers fully recline orcan be used with a bassinet attachment or an infant-only car seat.

7. Britax

Britax

Britax

The Britax B-Safe 35 Infant Car Seat is a favorite with parents who like its attractive design and high quality safety features. The car seat is easy to install, and has some of the highest ratings for the ease of installation when compared to other brands. Another Britax model makes our number one choice for Best Toddler Car Seat. And you can use this as a rear facing infant seat all the way up to a forward-facing seat up to 65 pounds. The expiration dates for Britax car seats manufactured after June 2010 range from 6 to 10 years. Their infant car seats as well as their belt-positioning booster seats have a 6-year lifespan while most of their convertible car seats expire 7 years after the manufacturer’s date.
